It is with great pride and honor that we can finally announce that we have been granted support for a 2-year innovation project (IPN) from the Research Council of Norway. We will work with our great partners; Aker BP, Equinor, OMV and DNO to develop the Hydrotell technology. The project will start July 1 with a total budget of 18 million NOK of which 50% is supported by the Research Council.
The Hydrotell technology will enable us to observe existing reservoirs and measure the depth of the free water level. When, during the lifetime of a hydrocarbon well, the free water level rises, our sensors will let us know. With the Hydrotell technology, energy companies will be better informed and can make crucial decisions based on the remaining volume of the reservoir.
A great boost of motivation to continue the journey to develop unique technology for the energy industry.
